My Story
Hey there,
I’m Harley, and if you’re here, then maybe you’re searching for something—growth, purpose, healing, or maybe just a place where someone understands you. Whatever brought you here, I want you to know you’re welcome, and more importantly, you’re seen.
I’m a pretty laid-back person—I tend to go with the flow, embracing the spontaneity of life and all that it offers. I don’t believe in rigid expectations because, more often than not, life has its own plans, even God. I’ve learned that sometimes, you have to take a step forward, even when you don’t fully know where it leads—and that’s exactly what I’m doing here, with this blog.
Opening up like this isn’t something that’s always come naturally to me. For a long time, I felt disconnected from people—not because I didn’t want connection, but because I wasn’t sure how to create it. Maybe it was how I was raised, maybe it was my circumstances, but I always felt like I was watching life happen rather than truly participating in it.
But the deeper I leaned into my faith, the more I understood that connection—real, honest, spiritual connection—is what we were designed for. God created us to support one another, to lift each other up, to grow together. That’s what I hope to do here. I want you to feel closer to Christ. I want you to know that no matter where you’ve been, there’s someone out here who understands.
Because I’ve been there too.
The Storm That Changed Everything
Life is full of storms—some subtle, some devastating. They shape us, challenge us, and ultimately define who we become. FITNICCS was born from the wreckage of one of those storms—a storm that took everything I thought I had, everything I thought I was. Dignity, strength, hope—all shattered.
For a long time, I struggled with understanding why people repeated their stories when sharing their testimonies. It seemed distant, almost rehearsed. But now, I understand—speaking truth takes courage.
I remember trying to share my own story before—feeling my throat tighten, trying to figure out where to start, knowing that if I even whispered the words, I would crack and shake before I could finish a single sentence.
I knew that sharing my story would be necessary, even if I struggled with it. That’s why I’m sharing it now. Not because every detail can be spoken, but because the most pivotal moments stand as milestones—shaping the journey that brought me here. Though much remains unspoken, the essence of my path remains. I'm not sharing for the sake of telling it; I'm sharing to show that transformation is possible, that healing is real, and that no matter how broken we’ve been, redemption is within reach.
Navigating Pain & Searching for Purpose
Growing up, guidance was scarce, love felt conditional, and purpose was something I had to fight for. My world was built on instability—abandonment, loneliness, confusion, and suffering became the rhythm of my existence. I spent years navigating life in survival mode, clinging to endurance because peace felt impossible.
I thought I knew what love was. But instead, I was used—not just emotionally, but in the painful reality of building a family that would never truly exist. I believed I was creating something permanent—until it all came crashing down, and both my child and I were abandoned.
The weight of that loss was unbearable. And just when I thought I couldn’t carry anymore, the people I trusted the most—my friends—left too. I found myself stranded, alone in a state that no longer felt like home, with nothing and no one. Forced into homelessness for the second time, I had no choice but to return to the only place that was familiar—but familiarity does not mean safety. I had to face my family again after years apart, after years of unspoken wounds.
I kept pushing forward, juggling two full-time jobs and a part-time job while living in an unstable and violent environment, with no real support, only sheer willpower. I was exhausted, barely holding on. And then, the darkest moments in my emerging adulthood came.
My father—burdened by his own demons—turned against me in violence, forcing me to escape by jumping off a two-story balcony, hiding, and never seeing him again. And then, weeks later, I was kidnapped, beaten, and left shattered once more—at the hands of a stranger I had met earlier that day.
I had known suffering before, but this felt like the breaking point. I saw no way forward, no future beyond the pain. For the second time in my life, I considered ending it all.
But then—God spoke.
The Moment That Saved Me
He did not offer comfort. He did not promise healing. He simply commanded: Five days.
That’s all He gave me to leave behind everything familiar and start over in a different state. Five days to surrender. Five days to escape.
It was terrifying. But I listened. I let go. And for the first time, I let Him lead.
Survival had taught me how to endure, but faith taught me how to heal.
Why FITNICCS Exists
Now, I refuse to let my past define me. I challenge myself daily to reject victimhood, to step boldly into the truth that I am worthy of a good life, too.
That’s what FITNICCS is all about. It’s more than just a brand—it’s proof that even in the wreckage, we can rebuild, redefine, and rise.
I spent most of my life feeling lost, overlooked, and underestimated, searching for purpose in a world that often felt empty. And maybe—just maybe—you’ve felt that way too.
If you have, you’re not alone. If you’ve struggled, fought, broken down, or felt like giving up, I want you to know that there is hope. There is grace. There is redemption.
You can always return. You can always rebuild. You can always start now.
I realized that change had to begin with me—especially in how I raise my son. I vowed to create an environment of unconditional love and peace, where he feels safe to grow, question, and become the man he is meant to be. I will nurture his heart with kindness, his mind with wisdom, and his spirit with faith. It doesn’t mean I am always perfect, but I do reflect on my actions and try to be better than I was the day before. In every challenge, I will stand beside him, and in every success, I will celebrate him. No matter the storms, he will always know he is loved, valued, and seen.
FITNICCS stands as a testament that no matter how broken we’ve been, God’s love is the greatest restoration.
And He is always waiting.
